Job Summary
Accountant is responsible for various accounting related duties & responsibilities, and general analytics for the department. Achieve departmental and company goals (SQCD).

Reports to:
Senior Manager, Finance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred
  • Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred
  • SAP experience is preferred
  • Microsoft Office experience with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in fast paced, high volume environment
  • Able to travel occasionally for business activities

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in accurate month end reporting by deadline
  • Accurately process vendor invoices
  • Vendor master information maintenance with accuracy
  • Maintain accurate pricing and other master date in the system in coordination with sales department
  • Prepare vendor payments on timely basis with accuracy
  • Prepare and review AP aging for follow up actions
  • Review AP statements with a follow up with vendors
  • Actively involved in meeting departmental goals
  • Comply with J-Sox requirements, and company standards, policies and procedure
  • Efficiency improvements
  • Perform other related duties as required
