Accounting Associate

Musashi Auto Parts in Arthur, Ontario is hiring for an entry-level accounting associate. The accounting associate will primarily be responsible for accounts payable functions. Additionally, they are responsible for various accounting-related duties & responsibilities, and general analytics for the department. Achieve departmental and company goals (SQCD).
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred
- SAP experience is preferred
- Microsoft Office experience with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Able to travel occasionally for business activities
**Responsibilities**:
- Accurate and timely vendor invoice processing
- Review vendor AP statements with follow-up on any open items
- Maintain accurate pricing and other master data in the system in coordination with purchasing department
- Prepare and review AP aging for follow-up actions
- Assist in accurate month-end reporting by the deadline
- Actively involved in meeting departmental goals
- Comply with J-Sox requirements and company standards, policies and procedure
- Efficiency improvements
- Perform other related duties as required
