What You'll Do:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk Support is part of a team that is responsible for collecting, verifying and processing payments and reconciling accounts.
Working under the supervision of the supervisor and manager the individual is responsible to ensure the tasks are completed in an accurate and efficient manner, consistent with company values.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accurate preparation and mailing of invoices to the client.
- Responsible for preparing the daily bank deposit.
- Process returned items received from the bank, including credit card rejections in the billing system.
- Responsible for the sorting and distribution of mail to the applicable individuals within the team, once it is received from Canada Post.
- Prepare daily bank deposits.
- Assist with updating policies.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams) with the ability to learn new software.
- This position is open to both high school students and post secondary students who are working towards their accreditation.
