In the role of Regional Manager, Primary Care, you are responsible for the collaborative establishment, coordination and implementation of primary care development, services, supports and initiatives with northern First Nations communities.

Syilx or Secwépemc (West Kelowna or Kamloops, BC)

About the role


As the Regional Manager of Primary Care, you support primary care and integrated health planning/development, navigation, monitoring, tracking, and reporting along with coaching and mentoring of health and wellness staff and relevant stakeholders.

The position oversees and provides people management to the Primary Care team.

You will provide senior level advice and expertise on best practices in in primary health care, education and program planning, development, implementation and evaluation.


About you


To be successful in this role you will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to foster collaborative partnerships utilizing a team approach.

You have a high level motivation with a positive attitude and high degree of flexibility in a rapidly changing environment.

Strong organizational skills and experience in project leadership/management will be essential to your sucsess in this role. You also have an ability to organize and prioritize work and balance multiple activities concurrently.


You have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Public Health or Health Sciences, plus recent experience in a healthcare environment with primary care or acute care plannibg, delivery, project management, strategic planning, and community and stakeholder engagement.

A Master's Degree in Health Administration, Public Heath, Leadership and /or Informatics would be beneficial in this role.
