As an Account Manager, you will provide a high level of expertise by facilitating simple and complex equipment finance contracts, coordinating leases, as well as deliver world class customer relationship management.

To be successful in this role, you should have a winning sales personality, be able to listen to customer needs and have confidence following up on cold calls and warm leads.

The Account Manager will work remotely and report directly to the President. This position is based in BC.

Core Responsibilities

  • You will develop and build a profitable portfolio in your territory through vendor visits, sales calls and networking through building strong relationships
  • You will grow and manage your designated territory with a focus on customers in the agriculture, construction, oil and gas, forestry, manufacturing and transportation industries
  • You will onboard and develop new vendor relationships and programs
  • You will be responsible for data input and integrity of Aspire data as it relates to the Account Managers role
  • You will achieve or surpass annual volume and profit targets through your strategic customer acquisition planning and network referrals.
  • Travel throughout your territory may be required to meet with new and prospective clients.

Education and Experience

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance preferred
  • 3+ years' experience as an Account Manager within the finance sector is recommended but not required
  • Previous Sales experience a benefit
  • Professional sales, negotiation, presentation, and communications skills.
  • Previous experience in qualifying and closing leasing products a benefit
  • Familiarity with reading financial statements and experience preparing written transaction summaries
  • Financial statement analysis includes: ratio analysis, review of industry norms, trending, and cash flow analysis
  • Experience interpreting key financial information and assessing the potential impact to the borrower is necessary
  • Heavy equipment, transportation, energy services or construction equipment experience is a benefit
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and effectively work on multiple tasks in a fast paced, demanding environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated high level of integrity, energy, and a positive customer and quality focus with ability to work within a team environment

  • Have an indepth understanding of Stride Capital products and offer the best solution for your prospect's needs
  • Develop and present professional quotes and proposals to your customers
  • Complete administrative tasks as required to finalize the deal

Knowledge

  • Ability to interpret and understand contractual language
  • Understand what's required for success in the role and on the team
