The LDB is one of two branches of government responsible for the cannabis and liquor industry of B.C.

We operate the wholesale distribution of beverage alcohol and non-medical cannabis within the province, as well as the household retail brands of BC Liquor Stores and BC Cannabis Stores.

Corporate Operations at the BCLDB includes our Corporate Loss Prevention, Construction & Facilities, Leasing and Corporate Audit departments.

Construction and Facilities department manages all activities related to the construction, renovation, and facilities management of all new and existing LDB facilities, included head office, distribution centres, and all BC Liquor and BC Cannabis retail locations.

The Leasing department manages all activities related to leasing of all new and existing LDB facilities, included head office, distribution centres, and all BC Liquor and BC Cannabis retail locations.

The Corporate Loss Prevention department ensures the security of all BCLDB assets through physical security management as well as an investigative team.

Corporate Audit strives to be a strategic partner in the BCLDB by providing advisory, risk and assurance services.


Reporting to the Director of Construction and Facilities, the Construction & Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the provision of a variety of administrative support services to the department including general administration, generating purchase orders, reconciling invoices, and tracking project budgets.

The coordinator is responsible for document control for the various projects and providing electronic data services and extensive administrative support, including financial administration.

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • A certificate or diploma in office administration and a minimum of two (2) years recent related experience*.
OR

  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered, i.e., three (3) years of recent related experience*.
  • Recent, related experience must be within the last 5 years and include the following:
  • Administrative/clerical experience working in an office environment.
  • Processing payment documentation.
  • Contract management.
  • Monitoring budgets within contracts.
