Hybrid Cooks/Servers _to join our team at GOGIYA Sushi and Korean Cuisine, where you can showcase your talents in both the kitchen and the front of the house.

As a Hybrid staff member, you'll play a critical role in our operations.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the kitchen with food preparation and cooking, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to our high standards and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to step into server duties when needed, providing friendly service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
  • Ensure timely food preparation and service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
  • Assist with various food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables and marinating meats
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Utilize serving skills to provide friendly and efficient service to customers
  • Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as required

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Smart Serve Certificate and Food Handler/Food Safety Certificate is an asset
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with fried foods and deep fryer equipment operation/maintenance is preferred
  • Familiarity with Korean cuisine is an asset
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Salary:
$16.55-$25.00 per hour
