IO's Finance, Technology, and Lending Enterprise Team ensures that IO is a financially efficient and effectively managed organization and that the agency's finances are monitored, reported, and managed appropriately.

As Vice President, Credit Risk Management at Infrastructure Ontario (IO), you will lead our efforts in managing credit risks, ensuring the financial efficiency and sustainability of our organization.

Your role will involve overseeing the Credit Risk Management framework, enhancing policies, conducting credit analysis, and managing relationships with key internal partners.

Establish and oversee the Credit Risk Management framework governing loan approval and monitoring processes.
Enhance policies and guidelines for credit review and approval.
Conduct thorough credit analysis and provide recommendations for loan approvals.
Manage credit risk committees and ensure timely processing of loan applications.
Develop internal expertise in credit risk management to support IO's goals.
Build and lead a team dedicated to delivering high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
Manage staff, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
University degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, treasury, or related areas.
Demonstrated leadership experience, with at least 7 years in credit risk management or banking operations.
Strong knowledge of financial/capital markets products and portfolio management.
Experience in negotiating strategically and building positive relationships.
Ability to analyze business models and risks, conduct detailed examination and interpretation of data, and assess ratios.
