About the Position


As part of the Family Programs team, the Supervised Access Program Coordinator (Coordinator) is responsible for coordinating a service that facilitates visits between children and their non-custodial parents.

Supervised visits take place weekends and evenings at the FSO site and in the community.

The Coordinator works with the Family Programs Manager to develop, deliver and expand the Supervised Access Program in response to client needs and funder requirements and is supported by part-time staff and volunteers who provide the direct service to families.

The Coordinator also provides regular support and backup to the other Family Programs Coordinators.

About You


You have a Degree in Social Work or a related field along with at least four (4) years of related experience working with families.

Along with significant experience with program coordination and program design, you bring understanding and experience working with child custody and access including family court, court orders and family law lawyers.

You bring expertise in using MS Office and database(s). You are a strong communicator (written and verbal, French and English) and have exceptional skills with conflict resolution. You demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to work as a collaborative team member.
