What You Will Do:

  • Deposit rental cheques to appropriate bank accounts, record cash receipts to tenant's accounts, process onetime PAD
  • Review and maintain daily AR report for property management team
  • Process preliminary monthly rent roll, vacancy, and lease expiration report
  • Process AP invoices relating to tenant chargebacks and leasing commissions
  • Issue and post tenant chargeback invoices to tenants for miscellaneous charges
  • Verify monthly parking rent calculations and post parking charges
  • Set up new tenants in the systems and administer any renewals, and assignments
  • Prepare monthly prelim for leasing commissions, TI and moveout refunds
  • Administer preauthorized payments
  • Prepare monthly Subledger Reconciliation Reports
  • Assist property accountants in annual CAM / Tax recoveries and budgets
  • Assist property accountants in monthly/quarterly budget variance analysis
  • Assist in Annual yearend working paper files
  • Liaison with Property Managers in a timely and professional manner as required
  • Assist Property Accountant Manager, Controllers if required

What You Will Bring:

  • 1 year of experience in an accounting clerk/property accounting administration
  • Degree or Diploma in accounting, finance or related field
  • Excellent communication abilities in English
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
