Strategic Account Director

Cision is looking for a Strategic Account Director to join their team:

  • Develop high-level relationships with clients' executives and stakeholders to understand their needs and drive account growth.
  • Represent the company at industry events to develop market profile.
  • Grow the portfolio through new business development and selling appropriate products/services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to analyze and resolve clients' challenges.
  • Lead the sales process from presentations to final close.
  • Monitor and track client account management efficiently.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance service delivery.
  • Network for new business opportunities and manage day-to-day sales operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 4 – 6 years of sales account management experience across industries.
  • Expertise in global newswire/media distribution is a strong asset.
  • Proven success with SaaS sales and/or cloud methodology.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to persuade clients, build relationships, and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills.
  • Stay updated on sales methodologies and industry processes.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
