Petroleum Driver

What you'll do:

• Demonstrate daytoday behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Cooperative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
• Engage and interact with memberowners and customers to provide outstanding Coop experiences
• Ensure the safe transfer of material is being delivered to customers in a timely manner
• Conduct regular inspections and maintain all required paperwork/documentation (i.e., circle checks, daily logs, invoices for delivered loads etc.)
• Be responsible for the care, appearance, and washing of the truck, and to promptly report to the supervisor any repairs that may be required
• Observe all safety precautions to minimize hazardous delivery and working conditions
• Provide information, assistance, and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of product and meet the needs, requirements, and expectations of the consumer
• Maintain a good standard of appearance and personal hygiene with adherence to the uniform policy
• Duties onsite as directed

Who you are:

• Class 3 Drivers Licence with air endorsement (Q); and a clean Drivers' Abstract
• You have Bulk Petroleum transportation experience
• Ability to perform regular heavy liftin and bending up to 25 kilograms (50 pounds)
• Knowledge of federal and provincial laws and regulations including (but not limited) Transport Canada, Environment Canada, and Provincial Government
• Excellent driving ability in all weather conditions
• Able to work independently
• Professional with a positive demeanor. Enthusiastic, honest, and trustworthy; are resultsoriented and strive to be the best in what you do
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Team player you believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
