What you'll do:

  • Demonstrate daytoday behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Cooperative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
  • Responsible for overseeing the operations of the bulk petroleum and cardlock locations for North Corridor Coop
  • Provide leadership for the petroleum department to achieve goals and objectives in alignment with North Corridor Coop's vision, mission, and values.
  • Oversee and monitor client satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement to ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction across all areas of responsibility.
  • Prepare annual budgets and achieve budgeted financial goals including sales, margin, expenses, employee productivity, inventory turns and overall contribution.
  • Analyze existing and anticipated marketing conditions in the department and make recommendations for the retails marketing plan
  • Ensure safety and environmental policies and procedures and standards are achieved.
  • Responsible for building relationships and maintaining existing relationships with our customers
  • Be responsible for Talent Management for the Petroleum team
  • Be familiar with pricing of petroleum products
  • Organize product delivery as needed
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintain all required paperwork/documentation (i.e., circle checks, daily logs, invoices for delivered loads etc.)
  • Duties onsite as directed

Who you are:

  • Class 3 Drivers Licence with air endorsement (Q); and a clean Drivers' Abstract
  • You have Bulk Petroleum transportation experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Ability to perform regular heavy liftin and bending up to 25 kilograms (50 pounds)
  • Knowledge of federal and provincial laws and regulations including (but not limited) Transport Canada, Environment Canada, and Provincial Government
  • Excellent driving ability in all weather conditions
  • Able to work independently
  • Professional with a positive demeanor. Enthusiastic, honest, and trustworthy; are resultsoriented and strive to be the best in what you do
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Team player you believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
