The Position. Bercon Rentals Inc., is offering anexcellent opportunity for a full-time contract administrator who is ready to grow their career with the leading company in the industry. You will be a key customer contact at our head office location in Stoney Creek. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional who has an interest in our industry and can build relationships and provide outstanding customer service. You will multi-task, learn plenty and build your ability to drive sales and company growth.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all work is accurately entered and managed in the dispatch system
  • Support the Dispatch in executing the daily plan and schedule drivers efficiently to ensure driver productivity
  • Be the frontline contact for drivers regarding scheduling and work availability
  • Coordinate with Service and Operations to ensure that the required equipment is available
  • Assign equipment to upcoming runs to ensure all of our customer's needs will be met
  • Communicate with drivers to ensure delivery times are met
  • Monitor special driver requirements for each site to ensure they are being adhered to
  • Report all driver absences to the Dispatcher
  • Complete customer reporting and tracking spreadsheets as required
  • To perform other duties as assigned by the Dispatcher
  • Provide support in other areas such as Service Department ISR or Service Coordination
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Qualifications or Skills Required:

  • Postsecondary diploma in a related field or related experience
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to plan and coordinate fleet resources to ensure effective utilization
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to multitask effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • Knowledge of aerial work platforms and material handling equipment is an asset
  • Strong computer/data entry skills, familiarity with software programs relevant to department operations
  • Collaborative and teamoriented approach
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
