The Field Service Engineers at DFS are product experts responsible for field testing and sustaining support. They play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless introduction of new products and act as key liaisons between end users, service providers, and internal teams.


Position Responsibilities:
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert for primary program assignments
  • Serve as a liaison to key internal/external customers
  • Provide timing estimates for project costing
  • Configure equipment for tradeshows
  • Offer design recommendations for serviceability
  • Support evaluation of sales opportunities
  • Assist in resolving technical issues during production
  • Conduct training sessions
  • Investigate and address field issues

The role also involves overseeing new product development efforts, managing beta tests, and ensuring service readiness.


Qualification Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field
  • Prior experience in field-based technical support
  • Up to 50% travel requirement

Fluency in English is required, with French proficiency being preferred.
