Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining, planning, and implementing technology solutions to meet the Global Markets technology objectives. In this position, you will collaborate closely with Business and Technology teams worldwide, serving as a Business Analyst. Leveraging your expertise in business systems, industry knowledge, and system development life cycle methodologies, you will deliver top-notch technology solutions for State Street Treasury's CRIMS (Charles River Investment Management Solution). The successful candidate will possess strong skills in business analysis, quality assurance testing, functional requirements gathering, and documentation. Additionally, excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities are essential, along with a track record of mediating between business and technology teams.

What you will be responsible for

As an IT Business Analyst AVP, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting an analysis of current processes and proposing enhancements and solutions; offering guidance on the impact of system changes on business operations.
  • Translating intricate and abstract concepts into clear and understandable business and functional requirements for various stakeholders (end users, developers, testers, etc.).
  • Creating project requirements and other relevant documentation using precise and succinct language consistent with the established methodology.
  • Collaborating with the project team to devise and oversee project plans, including addressing issues and mitigating risks.
  • Overseeing the resolution of issues, risks, and impediments.
  • Ensuring compliance with project methodology standards, documentation requirements, and approvals (e.g., project artifacts, tollgates, etc.).
  • Coordinating the involvement of necessary stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of deliverables.
  • Managing inter-team dependencies with other business and IT departments.
  • Having proficiency in SQL is advantageous.
Education and preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • At least 4 years of experience with CRIMS (Charles River Investment Management Solution).
  • Background in software implementation within the Financial Services sector in a Business Analyst capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing financial systems using standardized SDLC methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in handling multiple projects concurrently with evolving priorities and timelines.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation and facilitation expertise.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office, including Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
