DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for preparing food in a premium restaurant
  • Prep and maintain station to specifications per Chef
  • Execute dishes with detail, speed, and cleanliness; preparing recipes provided by Chef
  • Monitor product stock and ordering
  • Keep a clean work station, including all equipment, abide by Health & Safety standards and Food Safe requirements

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Food Handling and Health & Safety training
  • Skilled in various cooking methods; grilling, frying, sautéing
  • Knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment
  • Understanding of standard measurements
  • Enthusiastic with a passion for food and a positivity
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Professionalism; (punctuality, dedication, wellgroomed, manners)
  • Team player with all team members, BOH and FOH
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings

COVID-19 considerations:
