In this role, you'll be responsible for growing the legal operations function, including onboarding new technology, developing and automating processes, and problem-solving to improve the day-to-day productivity of the Legal Team.

You will also help manage our contracts management platform and will help identify a new contract management platform for lawyers and sales reps.

This role will be instrumental in crafting the future of the Legal Team and broader legal operations at MongoDB.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a technology roadmap for the Legal Team
  • Plan the expansion and development of the legal operations function
  • Identify Legal Team pain points and implement solutions to scale the operations of the Legal Team (i.e., handle design, rollout, and training for new tools, systems, and processes)
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of legal technology solutions, including contract management systems, ebilling platforms, document automation tools, and legal research and knowledge management databases
  • Coordinate daily management and maintenance of Conga contract management system, while working with the Legal Team on the implementation of the next contract management system for MongoDB
  • Coordinate daily management and maintenance of Brightflag ebilling system and vendor management
  • Assist with Knowledge Management for the Legal Team
  • Drive automation, process improvements and best practices across the Legal Team
  • Establish KPIs and provide regular reporting metrics to measure effectiveness and efficiency
  • Build crossfunctional relationships with Finance, Deal Strategy, Procurement, and Business Systems
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and developments in legal technology and operations, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement
