Responsibilities:

  • Gather appropriate and accurate information required to assess a potential client
  • Provide recommendations on individual plan design
  • Balance customer and risk considerations when making decisions
  • Provide underwriting guidance, support and service to the team
  • Answers question from clients and the team

Qualifications:

  • 5 years industry experience in medical underwriting, retired physician or foreign trained physician
  • Analytical thinker with research proficiencies
  • Ability to use reasonable and sound judgment
  • Able to work under own initiative as well as work effectively within a team
  • Ability to handle a large file load, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Solid organizational skills and detailoriented
  • Experience working with private and sensitive personal information
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; able to take initiative.

  • Proficient keyboard skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook


Our Office is located in Toronto (North York) just off of Hwy 401 and DVP, and is accessible by TTC transit.

Free parking is also available for those who drive. Hours are full-time (40 hours/week), with assigned shifts available between 8:00AM and 8:00PM Monday through Friday, and weekends.
