Vendor Managed Inventory Manager manages and maintains the customer's inventory replenishment levels and stock models based on approved schedule and agreed upon targets. The Vendor Managed Inventory Manager expedites and resolves and controls logistics, delivery, ordering or system issues that may impact expected inventory replenishment targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze utilization, product availability, pricing and lead times to prepare VMI models.
  • Understand all VMI parameters, calculations and data feeds to accurately generate replenishment orders.
  • Develop reports to track all metrics and identify trends or issues that impact inventory levels.
  • Manage staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
  • Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
  • Decision maker regarding VMI machines and offering collaborating with Market MGR. and VMI Accounts.
  • Controller of MyBis program for VMI.
  • Extensive knowledge of purchasing functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education preferred but not required.
  • 3 to 5 years as an individual contributor as related to Inventory and Vendor Management
  • 1 to 3 years supervisory experience
  • Extensive knowledge of function and department processes within logistics, supply chain
  • SCCMP certificate preferred
