We are on the hunt for an experienced and innovative

Real Estate Manager (Private Landowners) to lead the site acquisition function. As a member of the senior leadership team in its early stages, you will define the overall origination strategy and build a team to support you as we scale. In this diverse role, you will be responsible for cash flow management and reporting, financial strategy, capital raising and financial operations.


As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for all site acquisition and business development for Canada, including the management of our business development and B2G marketing functions.

You will drive partnerships and site acquisitions for JOLT's electric vehicle charging network, increase our partnership base, and will be accountable to site acquisition and profit targets.

You possess strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market, product and customer insights into tactical commercial strategies. Together with the executive team, you will develop and execute JOLT's vision and goals for growth in Canada.

This includes influencing and leading our business strategy, strategic partnerships, and commercial initiatives critical to JOLT's success in the region.


SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead strategies and execution of business development activities, customer acquisition, and postsales customer engagement
  • Lead commercial and sales negotiations including partnerships, teaming, and other supply/sales agreements. Establish and manage sales channels including thirdparty vendors or channel/distribution partners
  • Manage the daytoday aspects of customer and sales engagement
  • Lead efforts to identify and engage strategic business and industry experts and opportunities
  • Collaborate with product management from proposal to execution for customers through to third party sales engagementsEnsure appropriate standards of corporate governance in all activities
  • Development of new JOLT electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Have and maintain a strong general knowledge of State and Local government town planning legislation as it relates to outofhome media and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
  • Assist the broader commercial function in preparing developmentrelated tender documentation and presentations to existing and prospective clients.
  • Establish an ongoing positive relationship with State and Local government
  • Visit and present JOLT's development concepts to the State and Local governments.
  • Manage the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual developmentrelated reports

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 7+ years experience in business development, sales and commercial roles in local government and propperty development
  • A background within energy/utility, infrastructure or media industries would be an advantage.
  • You possess a solid understanding of business strategy and origination processes
  • Experience forecasting and managing budgets or financial metrics frameworks
  • Experience negotiating enterprise sales and site access agreements
  • The ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
  • Strong planning and crossfunctional project management skills to deliver results
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize and anticipate the needs of internal stakeholders in a fastpaced environment
  • Previous work experience with international or multinational companies a plus
  • Ideally holding a Bachelor's Degree from a reputable institution
  • Master's Degree in business or engineering a plus
