The DZ Driver/Loader with our client is responsible for various waste stream residential collections.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Monday to Friday schedule.
  • Shift options: 6:00 am to 4:00 pm (time varies) or 4:00 pm to 2:00 am.
  • Expect an average workday of 10 to 12 hours.
  • Drive a rolloff/dump truck to transport waste materials.
  • Efficiently manage and maintain the sludge pad.
  • Operate dumping and excavating trucks as needed.
  • This may include Yard Waste collection, Blue Box and/or Green Bin collection and Residential garbage collection.
  • You will provide customers with reliable and highquality customer service as the proper disposal of the waste streams are vital to the health and wellbeing of the residents of the community that you are servicing.
  • You will collect various waste streams to be delivered to local Transfer stations, Compost Facilities or landfill sites in an efficient and appropriate manner.
  • The garbage bags or cans can weigh up to 50 lbs. and need to be lifted from the ground up approximately 2 feet into the hopper.
  • You will be required make in excess of 800 residential stops per day.

Salary:
$23.00-$26.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Experience:

  • DZ Diving: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • DZ license and a clean abstract (preferred)
