Flagger (Multiple positions)

Pioneer Construction is looking for hard-working, self-motivated employees with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of Flaggers in the Kenora Area.

The Flagger will require a high level of motivation, professionalism, and independence. This is a full-time seasonal position available with competitive wages and a benefits package.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Control the flow of traffic throughout job sites.
• Assist equipment operators, and other skilled Labour when necessary.
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Display professionalism toward our company and customers.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures: safety standards operations, maintenance, training, cleanliness standards, etc.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Must possess a valid G Drivers License
• High school diploma or equivalent is considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must be capable of all physical requirements including lifting (up to 50lb), bending, climbing, etc.
• Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be willing to travel to job sites with occasional overnight stays when required.
• Seasonal positions available with the opportunity for overtime.
• Multiple positions available.
