Established in 1970, Irwin Industrial is a family-owned company, and family values are the foundation of our organization's culture.


We are seeking to grow our Dorval QC warehouse and fulfillment team with the addition of a full-time Shipper / Warehouse Associate.

This team plays a critical role, being the last link in servicing our clients by ensuring accurate shipments and on time delivery.

This is a full-time position, with medical/dental benefits & extended health care.

Primary Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Prepare and ship product both domestically and internationally.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Communicate and collaborate with colleagues and management.
  • Comply with all company policies and operational objectives.
  • Load and unload trucks safely
  • Follow all safety and security protocols.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Commit to continuous learning, to grow and support your role and the company.
  • To gain a basic understanding of Irwin's value proposition, and a working knowledge of quality system procedures that relate to this position.
  • Other duties and task as assigned.
  • Excellent organizational, time and priority management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to easily distinguish part numbers and figures.
  • Capable of working a consistent schedule of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
  • Basic Computer Knowledge
  • Capable of operating a Forklift and Pump Truck / Pallet Jack
  • A valid drivers license is required in the event of deliveries with company vehicle

Physical Requirements

  • Work can be physically strenuous: associates may be required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, use of ladders, and standing.

previous warehouse / shipping experience and forklift license an asset.

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
