Warehouse Operations Manager

Cascadia Metals is a dynamic and growing organization that values its employees. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Quebec.
The Warehouse Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, overseeing the receipt and shipment of materials, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising warehouse associates, delegating tasks, and providing coaching and training to ensure employees meet individual performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with management to prioritize daily tasks and ensure production and efficiency goals are met.
- Demonstrate expertise in sheet and coil receiving and shipping, and train new employees on these processes.
- Operate a forklift and ensure its proper use and maintenance.
- Supervise warehouse associates, enforce workplace rules, and maintain a respectful work environment.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, and communicate with the Branch Manager as needed.
- Ensure quality standards are met through visual audits and paperwork reviews.
- Liaise with other departments to investigate and resolve operational and customer issues.
Requirements:
- Bilingual - French and English proficiency is required.
- Self-motivated and able to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptionally well organized, with a high level of initiative and flexibility.
- Valid forklift certificate and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent handwriting and telephone manners.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and specialized inventory software.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience.
