Working Site Supervisor

This is a position for a construction professional who has previously worked hands on for at least 5-10 years completing interior fit-outs of restaurants, offices and retail.

We are looking for someone who understands the commercial construction industry in-depth, along with the OBC. You must be willing and able to work hands on as required to help progress the project as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
  • Working handson installing plywood backing, washroom accessories, shelving & store finishings as required at the end of the project
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, budgets, and schedules
  • Provide leadership and guidance to construction teams

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience working on restaurants, retail, office interior fitouts
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore or Buildertrend
  • Experience supervising construction projects from conception to completion
  • Ability to effectively manage budgets and resources
  • Knowledge of construction estimating and cost control methods
  • Understanding of quality control processes in the construction industry

  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
