Diplôme en ingénierie mécanique ; et/ou cinq ans d'expérience connexe dans la fabrication, l'ingénierie, l'approvisionnement et/ou la formation ; ou une combinaison équivalente d'études et d'expérience. Des connaissances en usinage et soudage/fabrication sont souhaitables. Aptitude à lire, analyser et interpréter des dessins techniques et des spécifications internationales. Le candidat doit comprendre les dessins et les spécifications détaillées et déterminer les alternatives pour répondre aux exigences d'approvisionnement Capacité à examiner les données et la situation et à prendre une décision éclairée en utilisant le jugement des meilleures pratiques. Capacité à améliorer les relations avec les clients internes/externes. Connaissances en fabrication, ingénierie, approvisionnement et qualité Bonnes capacités d'organisation et de gestion du temps Bonnes compétences en communication écrite et orale. Capacité à travailler avec des individus ainsi qu'en équipe. Capacité à définir des problèmes, à collecter des données, à établir des faits et à tirer des conclusions valables. Il est souhaitable de maîtriser les logiciels informatiques en ce qui concerne le traitement de texte, les tableurs, le CADD, etc. Capacité de voyager à l'étranger et au pays, par voie aérienne ou terrestre, au moins 40 % du temps.

The primary function of this position is to support the strategic focus on sourcing and quality initiatives. This position works globally with all business units, outsourcing managers, their teams as well as suppliers to ensure the quality, improved manufacturing methods and product delivery dates to internal/external customers is assured.

Mechanical Engineering Degree; and/or five years related experience in manufacturing, engineering, procurement and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Machining and welding/fabrication knowledge is desirable. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings and international specifications. Candidate must understand drawings and detailed specifications and determine alternatives to meet procurement requirements Ability to look at data and situation and make an informed decision using best practice judgment. Ability to enhance internal/external customer relationships. Knowledge in Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement & Quality Good organizational and time management skills Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with individuals as well as in a team environment. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Desirable to be computer software proficient as it pertains to word processing, spreadsheets, and CADD etc. Ability to travel international and domestically, by air or land, a minimum of 40% of the time.
