A Journeyman certificate is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent required. Journeyman Cook Papers required. Minimum of 1-year recent institutional, large quantity cooking experience required. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English required. Basic knowledge of regular, modified texture and special diets. Able to work independently, yet still capable of working as part of a team. Able to follow directions and guidelines. Must have excellent management skills, able to plan for deadlines. Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
