Position Title:
Business Project Manager, Rebrand

Reports To:
Director, Group Marketing

Term:
Temporary Full-Time, Twelve (12) Month Contract

Work Arrangements:
This is a hybrid role.

You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month.

You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.


The Opportunity:

As we roll out our new brand over the course of 2024, we need an innovative and collaborative problem solver to coordinate our rebranding initiatives across the Group Insurance division.


The Group Business Project Manager, Rebrand, will partner with the Group Leadership Team to identify, plan and support the transition to our new brand.

They will act as a liaison between Group Marketing, Group Operations, Corporate Marketing, and IT to effectively plan, resource and deliver on this key strategic initiative.

What you will be doing:

  • Working with Group business stakeholders to identify all assets that need to be transitioned to the new brand and developing and executing a project plan for that transition;
  • Working closely with the Brand Impact Program Manager to coordinate project plans, dates and scope of work for the brand efforts.
  • Engaging business stakeholders in the project process; ensuring business deliverables are defined and formalized into a project plan; coordinating business deliverables and timelines with the Group Management and Corporate Marketing and Group IT Project Managers to ensure effective and efficient delivery of key rebrand initiatives on time, within scope and within budget;
  • Facilitating meetings and resolving conflicts between various groups to enable progress on project initiatives;
  • Overseeing management of budget for projects/initiatives;
  • Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes, procedures, and tasks

What you will bring:

  • Postsecondary education with a degree in business, commerce or a related field.
  • Minimum of 510 years of industry experience, with responsibilities in a project management function.
  • Demonstrated project management and project planning experience with understanding of project management methodology, business analysis and testing techniques. Project Management Professional Certification is an asset.
  • Ability to drive projects through to completion by collaborating with colleagues or working independently with little or no supervision.
  • Excellent relationship skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to think strategically, leadership experience with the ability to negotiate and influence and manage conflicts
  • Ability to lead change effectively
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Strong understanding of process and process improvement methodology
  • Superb organizational skills
