Thomas Solutions is excited to announce that we are hiring and expanding. We are hiring for our sister company Thomas Vacuum Solutions to join our Team_

We are an Industrial Vacuum Service provider operating in Hamilton, Ontario. We are looking for experienced Vacuum Truck Operators to join our Team.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Liquid Vacuum Trucks & Wet/Dry Vacuum Trucks

Qualifications & Education:

  • DZ License is required, must be able to drive a manual truck
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • 13 years experience in a related field is required
  • Experience with the function, repair and maintenance of vacuum and transfer pumps and industrial equipment is an asset
  • Previous knowledge of TDGA, reg. 347/558, WHMIS, Confined Space Entry MTO, and MOE regulations, Working at Heights, SCBA, Supplied Air, Respirator Fit Tested (not a requirement), Harness Trained
  • Effective oral communication
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Proven track record of working safely
  • Good customer service skills with an ability to speak and write English
  • Effective problemsolving skills
  • Basic mechanical knowledge

Working Conditions:

  • Position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, walking and climbing of stairs and ladders
  • You will be exposed to environmental conditions such as hot and cold temperatures, work in areas that are dirty, dusty, wet and noisy
  • You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment, such as a hard hat, eye protection, hearing protection, respirators, flame retardant clothing and safety boots

$ $28.00 per hour

$25.00-$30.00 per hour
