Internship dates: September – December 2024

Our expectations:

The Engineering Student - Training Department Intern will have the opportunity to work in a professional office setting and collaborate with key team members on the manufacturing plant floor. Responsibilities include supporting training initiatives, working with the Training team, and engaging with various levels of the facilities team and leadership.

What your day-to-day will look like:

The successful candidate will work closely with the Training department on strategic projects related to EH&S and Quality requirements. This role involves developing new training programs, liaising with vendors, and actively participating in process improvements. Communication with plant employees and involvement in committee meetings will be key aspects of the role.

Must haves:

  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university for the duration of the internship
  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills in English (French is an asset)

  • Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Project management skills

Work Environment:

The Process Improvement Training Dept. student will experience a blend of office and manufacturing plant work, supporting training requirements and safety initiatives.
