Maintain superior accounting records and client files using QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online.

  • Full payroll functions including, but not limited to, regular payroll runs, deductions, garnishments, terminations, processing of Records of Employment.
  • Month and year end entries and preparation of reports.
  • Prepare and submit all government and WSIB remittances.
  • Full cycle accounting including, but not limited to, posting of journal entries, accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliations.
  • Liaise with external accountants regarding clients' bookkeeping and accounting.
  • Administrative duties.
  • Other duties as required.
  • 1 year bookkeeping and payroll experience with a public firm
  • Proficiency in QBD and QBO
  • Accounting diploma required
  • Bookkeeping and/or payroll certification preferred
  • Strong multitasking capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Above average attention to detail
  • Skills test required

Salary:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour
