Legendary Hospitality in the heart of downtown Halifax are looking for dishwashers to join the Durty Nelly's team. We are looking for passionate hard working individuals to join our back of house teams.

Responsibilities

  • Properly wash and sort dishes
  • Setup dish stations, including dish machines and sinks
  • Maintaining inventory for cleaning and sanitizing products and communicate to the restaurant Chef
  • Maintain the kitchen, workrooms, storerooms and equipment for cleanliness and order
  • Responsible for proper disposal of venue waste
  • Be an integral part of the Legendary guest experience
  • Be available and reliable for evenings/closing shift

About you

  • 1+ years experience an asset
  • A working knowledge of cuisine is an asset but not necessary
  • Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic
  • Advanced english language skills

Work Environment

  • Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs
  • Uniforms and PPE provided by LHG must be worn during work hours

Work Authorization

  • Must be authorized to legally work in Canada

$15.20-$16.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Weekends as needed
