Your Opportunity:

  • The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational needs within the medicine program
  • Facilitates educational initiatives for orientation, mandatory education, and ongoing support
  • Promotes clinical competence through changes in policies, procedures, and technology
  • Works collaboratively with the medicine program team under the patient care manager's guidance
  • Coverage of various areas within the program and site may be required

Description:

As an Instructor, you will play a key role in educating nursing staff, promoting standards of practice, and ensuring quality patient care

Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program
  • Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master of Nursing and previous CNE experience
  • Experience with RLS and clean hands portal
  • Process improvement and leadership training/certifications
  • Experience in multiple medicine sub-specialties
  • Clinical Nurse Educator experience
