Monday April 8 and Tuesday April 9, Norwood is participating in a Casino fundraiser at
Pure Casino Yellowhead, and we need 36 total committed volunteers.

This event has a huge impact to Norwood.

Fundraising goes towards expenses that other funding does not fully cover, such as utilities which literally keeps the heat, the lights, and the water turned on.

There are 6 positions that range from 4.0 to 9.5 hours.

All volunteers will be provided with training and there will be an advisor will be available to assist throughout the event.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.

  • General Manager (9:15AM6:30PM) and (6:15PM3:15AM)
  • Banker (9:15AM6:30PM) and (6:15PM3:15AM
  • Cashier (9:30AM7:00PM) and (6:30PM 3:15AM)
  • Chip Runner (9:30AM6:30PM) and (6:15PM 3:15AM)
  • Count Room Supervisor (11:30PM 3:30AM)
  • Count Room Staff (11:30PM 3:30AM)
Volunteers receive a free meal at the Casino as well as snacks and nonalcoholic beverages during their shift. The work is easy, and the atmosphere is fun

This is a volunteer position. No compensation will be provided.
