Your Opportunity
BDO Canada is looking for a
Manager, Corporate Procurement and Operations **to join our Operations team to own the following responsibilities:

  • Lead and Coordinate projects to enhance Procurement and Operations efficiency, including setting guidelines, developing detective control tools, and overseeing policy compliance.
  • Orchestrate three key initiatives in the next 12 months: Group Travel Savings, Facilities rental and maintenance savings, and a review of necessary procurement technology.
  • Facilitate ongoing software review with Finance Leader, gathering stakeholder input and managing project logistics.
  • Develop and refine existing policies and processes, collaborating with Legal, Risk Management, and other support functions.
  • Support management and implementation of documentation and process controls for internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate project progress and address issues effectively with clients and team members.
  • Educate and crosstrain team members as needed.
  • Establish a governance model and oversee endtoend procurement processes to ensure performance goals are met.
  • Liaise with stakeholder groups to develop regular reporting and analytics, synthesizing feedback for an exceptional client experience.
  • Monitor effectiveness and provide leadership in decisionmaking and investments.
  • Identify patterns and negotiate strategic agreements with suppliers for optimization.

Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge

  • 5+ years of operations and/or procurement experience, preferably in the professional services industry.
  • You have a completed undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills, preparing procurement analysis and developing and implementing policy enforcement processes, and monitoring internal service provider KPIs
  • You have strong problemsolving, analytical, and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  • The proven ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt to a constantly changing business environment, work independently, drive projects to completion, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Project management skills, and will take a supporting and/or leading role for regional project sourcing and work with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation
  • Process improvement mindset that is continuously striving to evolve our ways of working and improve the enduser experience
  • Experience in virtual leadership and cultivating crossfunctional team collaboration
  • Ability to work in an agile environment High level of cultural awareness to build relationships
