Position Summary:


As the Manager, Marketing, Recruitment, & Communications, you will lead the charge in crafting an integrated and strategic marketing and communications plan that not only supports our vision but also aligns with the Hill and Levene School of Business' and University's branding, fundraising, and marketing objectives.

This dynamic role offers the unique opportunity to spearhead student recruitment efforts for both undergraduate and graduate programs. Reporting to the Faculty Administrator, you'll be at the forefront of driving our long-term goals and objectives.

Your creativity and vision will be crucial in establishing a powerful national and international brand for both our undergraduate and graduate Schools.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Development, oversight of and accountability for annual undergraduate / graduate student enrolment targets; enrolment funnel management; collaborate with other units such as Enrolment Services, FGSR and URI on University recruitment and retention initiatives and strategies to ensure University enrolment targets are met;
  • Develop, coordinate and manage recruitment strategies for new markets for both graduate and undergraduate programs by gathering information from current students, alumni, networking opportunities, current trends and events. This includes assessing market feasibility, conducting market research, partnership building, and maintaining up to date market intelligence;
  • Development of marketing campaigns for both Schools and oversight of implementation of campaigns to ensure recruitment targets are achieved;
  • Develop and manage an integrated communications plan across both Schools;
  • Enhance the brand awareness and reputation of the Schools regionally, nationally and internationally;
  • Responsible for oversight of marketing, events and alumni engagement, recruitment and communications (MARC) including the supervision of the Communications and Outreach Coordinator, Student Recruiter, Student, Alumni & Events Coordinator, Admin Support
  • MARC, and provide direction and guidance to Program Advisors for both undergraduate and graduate Schools.
  • Lead on, and accountable for, developing and carrying out annual strategic marketing and communications budget and recruitment budget effectively managing limited resources in order to maximize impact;
  • Build relationships with business leaders in our community with Leaders Council and Hill and Levene Advisory Boards as well as both Graduate and Undergraduate Program Committees within our Schools to gain understanding of program changes and issues, and to provide statistical and other data to committees when needed;
  • Travel for recruitment purposes regionally, nationally, and internationally.
Position Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related area such as Public Relations or Communications, preferably with a specialization in Marketing or Communications. Graduate classes are an asset;
  • A minimum three years' experience in marketing or related field;
  • Demonstrated experience in setting and achieving recruitment targets including reporting on progress and determining managing limited resources in order to maximize impact;
  • Demonstrated experience in developing/executing a strategic marketing and recruitment plan with ability to assess market feasibility, conduct market research and maintain up to date market intelligence;
  • Experience in developing and leading student recruitment activities (domestic and/or international) in a postsecondary environment;
  • Experience in budgeting and project/event management;
  • Client relationship management skills and the ability to work with other units to accomplish goals and objectives while building and leveraging connections;
  • Proven ability to build a strong team, foster commitment, collaboration and respect within a team and demonstrated experience with communicating clear expectations providing the right access to tools;
  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills with demonstrated attention to detail
