Experience with a mail order pharmacy or busy ecommerce brand is ideal, but understanding how important accurate shipments, attention to detail, efficient use of time and excellent patient experience is mandatory.

You will be a pivotal member of the operations and pharmacy team, prepping, packing and getting orders out each day, via our network of shipping partners.

You'll report into our Manager, Pharmacy Operations, working with a cross functional team of pharmacists, pharmacy techs, developers, product owners and medical professionals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Day to day shipping operations: Picking shipment packaging, restocking ice for cold chain shipments printing labels, effective combining of orders, carrier choices, managing logistics and timing for multiple daily carrier pick ups, assisting in pick and pack of samples, and other internal packaging products
  • Reviewing approaching holidays and busy times and creating a game plan
  • Carrier vendor relationship: reviewing rates and negotiating new agreements, troubleshooting for individual issues, managing relationship with Shipstation, Fedex, Canada Post and Shippie
  • Fosters a groundup culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement that delivers measurable qualitative and quantitative results
  • Works with the marketing and product team to propose changes to packaging to improve safety, patient experience and branding opportunities

Technical Requirements:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Observe, audit, recommend, implement, and drive continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy is protected
  • Ensure all incidents and pertinent near misses are documented and handled in the appropriate time frame
  • Ensure adequate inventory control systems are maintained to guard against "out of stocks", "overstocks" and inventory loss
  • Contributes to maintaining inventory at optimum levels via routine review of planning parameters
  • Actively confirm suppliers' delivery on purchase orders
