PROJECT COORDINATOR, TEMPORARY FULL TIME
(contract ending on March 31, 2024)

70 Hours Bi-Weekly Hours| Non-Union | Days Shifts


Reporting to the Manager, Knowledge Mobilization, the Project Coordinator will provide support for the educational activities of the Preceptor Resource and Education Program for Long-Term Care (PREP LTC) at the Baycrest site by collaboratively coordinating, implementing, and sustaining the preceptor education components of PREP LTC, assisting with product development, translation, dissemination and uptake, evaluation, and report writing.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Contribute to project work and coordinate the day-to-day activities of Preceptor Resource and Education Program for Long-Term Care (PREP LTC) at Baycrest
  • Cocreate and execute project plan and educational products including fact sheets, tools.
  • Support preparation and presentation of educational products under guidance of Interprofessional Educator
  • Coordinate and facilitate trainthetrainer sessions including logistics
  • Coordinate evaluation and research efforts through review of surveys, data analysis, writing, and regular meetings with evaluation team
  • Manage planning and facilitation of meetings/committees, needs/gap analysis, delivery of strategy and project plan into actionable items
  • Provide technological support to end users in homes and schools, including teleconferencing and learning management systems
  • Support Baycrest team with logistics and technology
  • Work collaboratively with partners at Baycrest, the Research Institute for Aging, and Bruyère
  • Liaise with Regional Engagement Liaisons at Baycrest and partner sites to support uptake of educational components
  • Other roles related to this project may also be allocated based on the needs of the project and the successful incumbent's interest/availability

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Excellent coordination, facilitation and collaboration skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Master's degree in a related field (Administration, Healthcare, Education, or other related field) is preferred
  • Minimum 1 year firsthand or clinical experience working within longterm care
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience supporting multisite projects/programs
  • Project management knowledge and experience
  • Detailoriented, with analytical problemsolving ability, ability to prioritize/manage competing deadlines, and ability to translate needs into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in use of educational and communication technologies including teleconferencing, learning platforms, and project management platforms
  • Demonstrated experience supporting educational initiatives in organizations
  • Experience working with survey tools and polling software is an asset
  • Experience in the development of reports and proposals is an asset
  • Knowledge of longterm care and seniors' care is an asset
  • Project Management Professional Certification and/or formal project management education is an asset
