We now have Cioffi's Wholesale that supplies many of the top restaurants in Vancouver with these same fresh and delicious ingredients.


Job Title:
Grocery Assistant Manager

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist in managing the daytoday operations of the grocery department, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales tracking.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and scheduling staff to ensure the department is properly staffed at all times.
  • Ensure that all food items are properly stored, rotated, and displayed to the highest standards of quality and freshness.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and meet department goals.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure proper stock levels.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests, ensuring that all customers are satisfied with their experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in grocery, food service, or retail management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, track sales, and develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$22.00-$23.00 per hour
