What is the opportunity:

Join Energy Safety Canada as a Communications Coordinator. Reporting to the Communications Manager, this role is ideal for a proactive self starter with strong capabilities in planning, developing and implementing a variety of marketing and communication initiatives.

What will you do:

Execute a variety of communications tactics, including email marketing, analytics and reporting.Lead content management for ESC's website and employee intranet, utilizing these digital platforms for stakeholder communication, storytelling, and business development. Collaborate in the creation and implementation of communications and marketing plans and schedules ensuring alignment with project needs and adherence to timelines.Take a proactive role in planning, coordinating and executing events, overseeing logistics and ensuring seamless execution.Lead social media initiatives by generating and reviewing content ideas, optimizing engagement and maintaining a consistent brand voice across platforms. Other duties as required.

What you need to succeed:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, and/or Journalism.3-5 years of relevant work experience required; experience in a corporate environment preferred.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Strong writing and editing skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite.Enhanced attention to detail, especially in document formatting and PowerPoint design.Willingness to jump in and help with any task, big or small.
