We are seeking an Administrative Assistant and Community Coordinator to join our Environment and Sustainability team in Calgary.

  • Providing administrative support to staff including database system maintenance and training, expenses, proposal development and support, marketing support, and project setup support.
  • Support corporate initiatives such as Hatch's Sustainability Report, United Nations Global Compact annual review, Australia's Reconciliation Action Plan, and the Progressive Aboriginal Relations certification.
  • Assisting Environment and Sustainability staff with administrative duties as requested and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with employees, peers, and clients.
  • Excellent coordination and planning skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced word processing skills such as Word, Power Point, Visio, Excel. SAP is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Selfmotivation, initiative, and the ability to work effectively with all organizational levels with or without direct supervision.
  • Well organized with good interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented individual who takes pride in their work.
  • Can easily prioritize tasks, adapt to change, and work well under pressure.
