Quality Assurance Technician

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible to ensure the production process meets superior food safety systems (HACCP) and quality standards from entry of raw materials into the facility, to the processing of goods, to shipment of finished product.
Key functions of this role include:
- Conducting product sampling and environmental swabbing
- Ensuring daytoday manufacturing practices meet accepted food safety and product quality standards
- Maintaining accurate documentation related to Quality Assurance activities and HACCP
- Monitoring and following Good Manufacturing practices
Qualifications:
- Superior communication and organizational skills
- Excellent decisionmaking and timemanagement skills
- Post secondary education and/or related Quality Assurance experience
- Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP systems
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset
