We are assembling a specialized team at AstraZeneca focusing on Vaccines & Immune Therapies and seeking a dedicated physician with previous experience in clinical development of immune therapies. Responsibilities:
In this anticipated role in V&I clinical development, you will have the chance to contribute to one of our existing or forthcoming vaccine or monoclonal antibody projects for viral or bacterial diseases in a diverse international setting, with opportunities to engage with key clinical team members (e.g., clinical operations, biostatistics, regulatory affairs).
Key Skills/Experience:
- Fully qualified physician (MD or MD PhD) with clinical background, preferably in infectious diseases or immunology
- Experience in clinical drug development, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry for a minimum of several years
- Proficient in clinical trial methodologies
- Expertise in designing, conducting, and analyzing clinical studies (e.g., medical oversight, data analysis)
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (including presentations) in English
- Ability to work at an AstraZeneca office location
