The Department of Emergency Medicine at Erie Shores HealthCare is inviting applications for a Full-time Emergency Room Physician to join our team.

The Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day and receives over 30,000 annual visits, including a variety of pathology.

Internal medicine, general surgery, OB-GYN, psychiatry, and anesthesia support the ED with onsite specialist coverage and established links to subspecialty coverage within the Windsor Regional Hospital system.


Qualifications:

Successful candidates will be CCFP-EM, ABEM, FRCPC, or CCFP certified with Emergency Medicine experience and must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

CPSO pathway licensure is easily available for US Board-Certified Physicians, and new regulations implemented in 2023 have created a straightforward licensure process without the requirement for supervision.

Benefits:

  • Fulltime shifts per month): $125,000 signing bonus for 5 years of return to service.
  • This is a 3year interestfree loan of $100,000 for relocation costs, with $15,000 forgiven at the end of the term.
  • Emergency Medicine AFA Hourly rates range from $160 per hour to $224 per hour. Hourly rates are topped up with 37% of shadow billings. On select shifts, there is currently an extra $21/hour being provided to support the Critical Care Outreach Team.
