Role:
Ensure all customer orders are processed on a timely basis and work with sales reps and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with sales, shipping, production and confirmation desk with regards to shipping and delivery concerns, product availability, and other related issues.
  • Liaise with Sales Representatives and customers to ensure problems affecting orders are promptly resolved.
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Communicate with new and potential customers; advise on company policies and procedures, and expectations of services and products.
  • Responsible for the administration of select corporate accounts.
  • Maintain preprice product table and price files on an as required basis.
  • Contact selected customers on a weekly basis, advise of specials and features as directed by the Territory Sales Manager.
  • Work with the sales and marketing department for introduction of new products.
  • Maintain customer files for all out of town and major city customers. Information to include customer POs, contract pricing, sales promotions, etc.
  • Maintain repeating order file, and update on an asrequired basis.
  • Call transfer for pick up orders and arrange for long weekend schedule changes.
  • Work with transportation companies to maintain and improve the expected level of service.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good keyboarding and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage interdepartmental relationships with Sales and Marketing, Shipping and Receiving, Production, and Confirmation Desk.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with Customers and Freight Companies.
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • 23 years in a customer service and administrative role.
