Summary:


The Marketing Manager's responsibilities include managing and enhancing the company's brand or reputation in the public's eye, ensuring brand consistency, providing support for customers, supervising, leading and working with the Marketing department to achieve their targets.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Richmond, BC.

Job Duties:

  • Work with the marketing team to create, deliver, edit and optimize all marketing materials
  • Develop annual marketing and communications plans that align with the organization's strategic goals
  • Lead the development of company wide social media management standards, policies and rules of engagement
  • Build and manage the company's social media profiles and presence
  • Provide nutritionist articles and support for customers
  • Collaborate with designers and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of our audience
  • Assist with all aspects of executing marketing events, tradeshows and customer events
  • Prioritizes sustainability and the environment when engaged in business relations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years Marketing experience in Nutraceutical/Health and Wellness industry
  • Minimum 3 year experience as Marketing Manager
  • Nutraceutical/Health and Wellness industry preferred
  • Experience as nutritionist preferred
  • Knowledge/experience hosting events, tradeshows, branding promotion and sampling
  • Leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & listening)
  • Hardworking, proactive and a team player
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with other general computer skills
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times
  • Reduce environmental impact whenever possible

Work Conditions:

  • Fulltime, Monday to Friday availability
  • Sitting/walking throughout the day
  • Working on a computer for most of the day
  • Overtime may be required
  • Travel to the site and offsite locations will be required
  • Work both indoors and outdoors at tradeshows/demos
  • Have good attendance and safety record

Training
On the job training will be provided and evaluated upon completion.
