Duties

  • Developing project scopes and objectives for, as well as participating in, acquisitions, facility improvements, production and procurement initiatives/changes and product development.
  • Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Tracking and reporting
  • Leading the handover of new products from R+D to the Manufacturing Department
  • Working with production and engineering staff to track and prioritize opportunities for improvement of quality control, manufacturing methods and supply chain
  • Assisting with development and refinement of process controls
  • Assisting with logistics improvements
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Managing/overseeing existing and new patents
  • Maintaining time and product development logs for SRED and other granting programs

Considered an Asset

  • Experience managing projects and/or products in a manufacturing environment
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize
  • Experience with acquisitions and systems integration/amalgamation
  • Experience with the patent process
  • An understanding of revision control
  • Experience with Salesforce or Similar CRM software
  • Superior organizational skills
  • A natural ability to provide creative solutions
