Vins Plastics Ltd. is growing and looking for enthusiastic and collaborative individuals to join our winning team as a Procurement Specialist.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring all departments and customers have the information they need to meet objectives.


WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO

  • Enter Material Requisitions into Microsoft Dynamics AX2012R3 ERP Platform and
generate Price Inquiries, Purchase Orders, Return Orders etc.

  • Responsible for assisting in researching, evaluating, and procuring various materials to
meet the supply requirements for the manufacturing facility.

  • Compares costs and evaluates the quality and suitability of supplies, materials and
equipment.

  • Create Inventory Items in MS Dynamics AX ERP Platform
Service Representatives.

  • Followup and coordinate with various departments (Production, Graphics, etc.) on
delivery times for items

  • Ensure delivered items are received correctly by appropriate personnel
  • Post Vendor Invoices in ERP Platform against specific purchase orders
  • Explore Cost Saving Opportunities on purchased items
  • Qualify new Vendors for product supply
  • Develop Rebate Proposals with various Vendors
  • Regularly meet with Vendors onsite to leverage new business opportunities

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Successful completion or in progress of a postsecondary education in a related field, or approved equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years' experience in a relevant field
  • Strong knowledge/comfort with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
  • Time Management
  • Resourcefulness
  • Professionalism
