SISIP FINANCIAL

SISIP Financial, a division within CFMWS, offers a comprehensive suite of financial solutions designed for the specific needs of Canadian Armed Forces Members and their families. In addition to traditional insurance, investment, and financial advisory services, we prioritize delivering proactive financial education and counseling to support the financial well-being of our members. At SISIP, our focus is always on providing the right solutions at the right time for our members, with a commission-free structure to reinforce this commitment. As a social enterprise, the profits generated contribute to funding programs within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) community for the benefit of our members and their families.

SISIP Financial services are accessible to Canadian Armed Forces Members both virtually and in-person, with 23 offices spread across CAF communities nationwide. Our central office is situated in Ottawa.

THE ROLE

This position is pivotal in delivering high-quality client services to our military members and their families. We actively encourage military personnel to engage in financial planning for themselves and their families, as we believe that their well-being directly impacts their performance both at home and at work. Your responsibilities will include welcoming clients and potential clients, understanding their needs, and liaising with clients, advisors, and fund companies to facilitate trade requests. To excel in this role, you must be compassionate, empathetic, detail-oriented, possess excellent listening and communication skills, and demonstrate patience, a genuine desire to assist others, and a strong team spirit. QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Certifications, and Licenses

Completion of a College diploma or certificate program in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, combined with several years of experience in office administration, banking, or a related field

Experience

Hands-on experience in providing administrative services within a financial planning, counseling, and/or insurance environment
Proficiency in office administration tasks
Experience in maintaining filing systems
Strong skills in proofreading, data entry, record-keeping, and retrieval techniques
Ability to draft various correspondence and reports

Competencies, Skills, and Abilities

Strong focus on client needs, solid organizational understanding, effective communication skills, innovative thinking, teamwork abilities, and leadership qualities.

OTHER INFORMATION

Language Requirement:

Proficiency in French is essential, while bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset

Proficiency Levels: Reading - Functional, Writing - Functional, Oral - Functional

Start Date: Anticipated commencement on [Not Specified]

This role requires on-site work within a designated location, with standard working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

No relocation support will be provided.

The selection process will be conducted remotely.
